Our Story

Good Eatin' began in 2018 with a simple dream: to bring delicious, homestyle cooking to the streets. Founded by Wayland Goode, a former restaurant chef with over 15 years of experience, the concept was born from his passion for creating dishes that combine classic comfort food with innovative twists.

What started as weekend cookouts for friends and family quickly grew into a beloved local food truck. Wayland's dedication to quality ingredients and authentic flavors resonated with the community, and before long, the Good Eatin' truck had developed a loyal following.

In 2020, despite the challenges facing the food industry, Good Eatin' expanded its operations, bringing on additional team members and broadening its menu offerings. The focus remained the same: serve up tasty food made with quality ingredients at fair prices.

Today, Good Eatin' continues to be a fixture in the local food scene, bringing our signature tacos, wings, BBQ, and more to food truck rallies, office parks, festivals, and private events throughout the region. We're proud to be locally owned and operated, and we're grateful for the community that has embraced us.

The Beginning

Good Eatin' launches with a small menu of tacos and wings, operating on weekends only.

First Food Truck Rally

We participate in our first major food truck event and sell out in record time.

Full-Time Operations
